Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms apply to the websites, web apps, mobile apps, APIs and other services (the "Services") provided by FUSIONBOX, a business based in Greece ("Fusionbox", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying, or using a Service you agree to them. The section “Vozwave” adds the terms that apply only to Vozwave: vozwave.io, the Vozwave iPhone app and Vozwave Host (host.vozwave.io).

1. Our Services and product terms

Fusionbox builds and operates software-as-a-service products, some of which use automated processing and artificial intelligence. Each product may add its own description, pricing, limits or supplementary terms. Where a product page conflicts with these terms about that product, the product page prevails for that product.

We may add, change or retire features and products for valid reasons, such as security, legal requirements, changes by our suppliers or improvements, at no extra cost to you. If a change negatively affects your access to or use of something you have already paid for, more than in a minor way, we will tell you in advance and you may end the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change and receive a refund of the unused prepaid part.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who must make any purchase. If you use a Service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it, and "you" includes that organisation.

Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You may sign in with an email and password or with a third-party identity provider we support. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by people you invite. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

3. Plans, credits and payment

Services may be offered free, by subscription, by usage, as prepaid credits or as one-off purchases, and we may offer trials or introductory prices. The price, billing period and main limits are shown before you buy.

  • Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, except purchases made inside a mobile app through an app store: it sells the purchase to you, collects payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes, issues receipts and handles payment questions and returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the purchase; these terms apply to your use of the Service.
  • App store purchases. If you buy inside a mobile app through an app store, such as Apple’s App Store, the app store sells the purchase to you and its own terms, prices, payment and refund process apply to that purchase.
  • Prices and taxes. Each price states whether it includes tax. Where a price is shown before tax, the checkout shows the total price, including any VAT or sales tax that applies where you live, before you pay, and may show it in your local currency. You pay the total shown at checkout.
  • Subscriptions, where a product offers them, renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel, and the price, billing period and renewal are shown before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time, online, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Before a price change applies to your subscription we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
  • Prepaid credits are digital, are used up as you use the Service, have no cash value and are not transferable to another account or organisation. Credits bought for an organisation are shared by its members. Unless the product’s pricing page says otherwise, prepaid credits do not expire while your account remains open; allowances included in a subscription renew each period and do not roll over unless the product says so. The product shows how many credits an activity uses, and when your credits run out the activity stops until you add more.
  • Refunds and the statutory right of withdrawal are described in our Refund Policy.
  • If a payment fails, is refunded or is reversed, the credits or access it paid for are removed. If some of those credits were already used, your balance can become negative, and you need to add credits before using the paid Service again.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help others to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy, intellectual property and the rights of people whose voice or personal data you submit;
  • submit content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive or harmful;
  • record, translate or broadcast people without the notice or consent the law requires, or use a synthetic voice or translated output to impersonate a real person, to mislead people into thinking it is the person’s own words or voice, or to pass off AI-generated or AI-altered content as authentic where the law requires it to be disclosed;
  • create or use a synthetic copy of anyone’s voice without the consent section 7 requires, or remove, alter or hide a mark that identifies audio as AI-generated;
  • attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the Services, or to bypass limits, credit metering or security measures;
  • resell or sublicense the Services without our written permission, or use them to build a competing product;
  • use output from the Services where an automated error could cause harm without suitable human review.

5. Your content and data

You keep all rights in the content, audio, text, files and data you submit ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, worldwide licence to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the Services, to meet legal obligations and as described in our Privacy Policy. You promise you have the rights and consents needed to submit it.

We do not use Your Content to train our own AI models. We may use stored records of your sessions to keep the Services secure and to measure and improve their quality, as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we use third-party providers, such as AI model providers, to process Your Content, they process it to provide the Service.

If a product lets you share content by link, anyone who has the link can open it, so share links with care. You can delete your content where the product allows, or ask us to delete it.

6. Automated output

Some Services use automated systems, including AI models, to transcribe, translate, generate or analyse content, and some produce synthetic (AI-generated) voices, which may be made to sound like a particular person. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You are responsible for checking it before you rely on it, particularly in medical, legal, financial or safety-critical settings.

If you publish, broadcast or share output, for example translated or dubbed audio or video, you are responsible for telling your audience that it is machine-translated or AI-generated where the law requires, and for having the rights and consents of the people whose speech, voice or image it contains.

7. Voice clones

Some Services may let you create a synthetic voice that sounds like a particular person (a "Voice Clone") from recordings of that person ("Voice Samples"), for example so that a translation of your speech is heard in a voice like your own. Where a Service offers this, the following applies in addition to the rest of these terms:

  • Consent. You may create a Voice Clone only of your own voice, or of another person who has given you explicit, informed and freely given consent for the specific use you intend. A Voice Clone of a person under 18 also needs the consent of their parent or guardian. Keep a record of the consent and show it to us if we ask.
  • Confirmation. We may ask the person whose voice it is to confirm their consent to us directly, for example by recording a short statement or confirming from their own account, and we may refuse, pause or delete a Voice Clone if consent cannot be confirmed.
  • Permitted use. Use a Voice Clone only inside the Service, for the purpose the person agreed to, and only to voice words the person said or approved, such as a translation of their own speech. Never use it to make a person appear to say something they did not say or approve, to deceive or defraud anyone, to get past voice-based security checks, or for sexual, defamatory, harassing or political campaign content.
  • Disclosure. When other people hear audio made with a Voice Clone, make clear that it is AI-generated, as the law requires, for example at the start of an event or in the description of a video. We may add an audible or machine-readable mark to synthetic audio that identifies it as AI-generated.
  • Withdrawal and deletion. A person can withdraw consent to a Voice Clone of their voice at any time, by telling you or us. You must then stop using it, and we delete it and its Voice Samples. You can delete a Voice Clone you created at any time. We do not make a Voice Clone available to anyone outside the account or organisation that created it, and we do not use Voice Samples or Voice Clones to train our own AI models.
  • Rights. The person keeps all rights in their voice and likeness. A Voice Clone gives you no rights in the person’s voice beyond the consent they gave, and gives us only the licence in section 5. If you use the Services for business purposes, you are responsible for claims by others arising from a Voice Clone you created or used in breach of this section.
  • Enforcement. We may delete a Voice Clone, and suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe this section has been broken, and we may report unlawful use to the authorities.

8. Reporting illegal content

If you believe content handled by a Service is illegal or infringes your rights, such as your copyright or a synthetic copy of your voice made without your consent, tell us through our contact form (fusionbox.cloud/#contact): explain why, say exactly where the content is, give your name and email address (unless the report concerns certain child sexual abuse offences), and confirm that your report is accurate and made in good faith. We confirm receipt, review reports with a person, and may remove or disable content or suspend or close accounts that break the law or these terms. When we restrict your content or account we tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents it, and you can contest the decision through the same form. Authorities can contact us the same way. We accept reports and communications in English and Greek.

9. Intellectual property

The Services, software, branding and documentation belong to Fusionbox or its licensors. Subject to these terms we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services. Open-source and third-party components remain under their own licences.

10. Availability and support

We work to keep the Services available and secure but do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, third-party outages or events beyond our control may affect availability. Beta or preview features are provided as they are and may change or end. Support is available through our contact form.

11. Warranties and liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including your legal rights if a Service is not as described or does not conform to the contract, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury, fraud, or intentional or grossly negligent acts.

If you are a consumer, we are liable under the law for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our lack of care, and not for loss that was not foreseeable when the contract was made.

If you use the Services for business purposes, then, to the extent the law permits, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, and our total liability for claims relating to a Service is limited to the amount you paid for that Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Keep your own copies of content that matters to you: a Service is not a backup or archive unless the product says so.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access, in proportion to the problem, if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, if a payment is reversed or fraudulent, if you put the Services, other users or third parties at risk, or if the law requires it. Except where urgent action is needed, or the law prevents it, we will tell you first and give you the reason, and where the problem can be fixed, a chance to fix it.

If we discontinue a Service, or end your access without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused prepaid part. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for valid reasons, such as changes to the Services, to the law or to our suppliers. We will post the new version here with its date and, for changes that affect you materially, tell you in the product or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the law requires a change sooner. Changes do not apply to purchases already made in a way that is less favourable to you. If you do not agree to a change, you may close your account before it takes effect and receive a refund of the unused prepaid part.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence or of Greece; we may bring proceedings against you only in the courts of your country of residence. If you use the Services for business purposes, the courts of Greece have jurisdiction.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also ask the European Consumer Centre in your country for help, or refer the dispute to an alternative dispute resolution body, such as the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman in Greece. (The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform closed in July 2025.)

15. Vozwave

If you run an event with Vozwave Host, you are responsible for informing speakers and attendees that their speech is processed, translated and played back in a synthetic voice, and for any consent the law requires.
